hotelshopUK’s exceptionally accommodating choir wins Judges' prize!
Droitwich accommodation and short breaks company hotelshopUK performed a powerful and memorable rendition of Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ to win the Judges’ Prize category at Postcode Anywhere’s Last Choir Standing Corporate Choir Event on 22 October 2009.
hotelshopUK’s managing director, Viv Hudson was inspired to join in the Last Choir Standing competition after attending the Worcestershire Ambassador’s event at Postcode Anywhere earlier this year. The choir, named hotelshoutUK, competed against seven other corporate choirs and came third overall with the Judge’s special prize.
hotelshopUK’s Rob Veale completed the performance with a superb air guitar version of the famous ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ guitar solo, getting into character as he slid around the stage performing Freddie Mercury-esque moves, to the delight of the audience and judges.
Viv Hudson comments: “The hotelshopUK team was so excited about being part of Last Choir Standing, and have shown such dedication by rehearsing endlessly over recent months. Everyone in the choir did superbly well, and we hope their performance was enjoyed by the audience. We enjoy singing so much that it’s even inspired us to follow this event with a local Christmas Carol Evening to raise money for our chosen charity The Prince’s Trust in Worcestershire. hotelshopUK has a lot to sing about as we are celebrating our 10th anniversary this month - we’re looking forward to getting involved in many events throughout our 10th year, including our 10/10 challenge to raise £10k over twelve month to commemorate our tenth birthday!”

Looking forward to the new look hotelshopUK website
I can't wait for the new look hotelshopUK website to launch. It's been a few months in the making but sees hotelshopUK on the first phase of a new development cycle for the company.
The new home page will look and feel more interactive and the hotel pages will offer more information about each property including the introduction of Google maps showing hotel locations. Further developments will offer the facility to work out driving distances from home for our customers.
